Cycling Safety

The Joliet Bicycle Club wants to make sure that all Cyclists adopt safe riding habits whether your on a trail or on the road. When we educate ourselves with “Best Practices”, we become better riders. Learning the proper techniques of riding in traffic will not only be safer for the cyclists, but will allow traffic to flow smoothly. Learning “The rules of the Trail” and following proper trail etiquette sets an example for all other cyclists we interact with throughout our journeys.

Provided below are interesting articles and quizzes on bicycle safety that can test your knowledge of the “Rules of the Road” and how to navigate traffic.
